Project Description

The proposed project titled under UCR is "12.65 MW Biomass based Cogeneration Project at Ajbapur, Uttar Pradesh" by M/S DCM Shriram Limited, Distillery Unit-Ajbapur, which is a biomass-based co-generation project in Lakhimpur Kheri district in the state of Uttar Pradesh (India). The project is contributing toward meeting SDG Goals 7, 8 and 13. The Project activity reduces 2,42,164 t-CO2e/annum of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by avoiding fossil fuel combustion for co-generation.
